It Takes A Village…

Hi PASC Families

Believe it or not, ski season is right around the corner! Thanks to Lindsay for getting our registration up and running. If you need a reminder – registration can be found here.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to help work at the ski swap. PASC has done an incredible job filling our required volunteer time slots! If you haven’t signed up yet there are just a few shifts left. Get in there before you miss out. Any parent and/or U14 and up, athlete can volunteer. The volunteer sign-up link is here.

Do you have ski gear to donate? Starting October 13th, you can drop off ski gear, including boots, skis, poles, outer wear, goggles, speed suits, etc. at the Ski Haus (126 Brodie St). Please note for safety reasons, helmets are not accepted for resale. Proceeds from the Ski Swap support our club, and all clubs under the LSDA. You can find more information on the poster below.

And…on the topic of club fundraisers – PASC is looking for 2 new BINGO volunteers. The LSDA is fortunate to be a sponsored charity through the Superior Shores Gaming Association . How do we earn funds for our club? Volunteers sign up for available shifts (just 2 hours) and spend their time getting food and beverages for patrons and cleaning up used BINGO cards. Easy, and no door to door cookie sales required!

Lastly, PASC is in need of a volunteer to become our LSDA representative for the club. The role helps support PASC at the Division level, is a two year term and a monthly commitment. Additionally, each member that is representing a club is also part of the LSDA executive. If this feels like a role you can fill, please email info.paskiclub@gmail.com to add your name to the nomination slate.

Please save the date for the LSDA AGM slotted for Wednesday October 28, 2026 at 7:00 pm. This will be a hybrid event and registration information will follow this week.
